My Story
I spent 24 years as a stay at home mom, 15 of those also as a caregiver to my spouse with numerous health issues. As our children grew into adults I suddenly found myself with a lot of FREE time, Time that allowed me to obsess over my Husband's End-Stage Renal Disease and my Anxiety disorder was out of control! Everyone(including my husband) was telling me I needed to find something just for ME!
A jar candle shattering from the heat of the flame in my 86yo grandma's bedroom started my journey back to Scentsy. I had used Scentsy over a decade ago but when my consultant stopped selling I stopped buying! It just so happened my friend Tiffany was having a virtual Scentsy party at the time. Then I booked my own party! Two days into my own party after watching a FB live with my husband I turned to him and said, "we should order the consultant kit, our wish list has outgrown our budget"
A few days later I had my own Scentsy business. I signed up with the intention to get the kit and a little discount on my purchases. But while I waited for my kit I realized I found something JUST FOR ME! It was a way for me to hang out with family, friends, and meet new people without feeling like I wasn't also taking care of my husband's health needs. Plus he is my biggest supporter, cheerleader, and motivator.
In my first 14 days with the company, I earned enough money to pay for my kit and my first award from the company. I'm excited to build a team and customer base that also allows me to be at home with my husband. I'm able to use my skills and talents for something that I am excited to wake up every morning and do!
